Our Mission

Our mission is to provide comfort, enrichment and happiness to shelter dogs while they wait for their forever home.

We gather toys throughout the holiday season, and deliver them to local shelters, allowing the dogs to choose their favorite toy of their own.

How It Started

Emma Heavener founded Jumps for Joy at the age of 12. While volunteering for local animal shelters and rescues she recognized the need for toys and enrichment for the dogs who were waiting for a home. She wanted to make a difference and bring some joy to homeless animals.

Emma has fostered countless animals, and currently has 2 dogs and 6 cats, 6 of which are rescues.
